Anna, at a young age, was playing with her sister in the palace, and Elsa made it snow.  Anna was jumping upon hills of snow that Elsa was making, and slipped because she jumped too fast.  When Elsa tried to save her, she struck ice into Anna's head by accident, and Anna went into a frozen state.  When the king and queen took Anna to a troll village.  Anna was healed, but her memories of Elsa's powers were gone, and therefore she never remembered what happened.  When Elsa was seperated from Anna, she never knew why, and grew tired over the years about asking.  From the incident, Anna grew a white stripe in her hair.
